Rahat Fateh Ali Khan once expressed in interview that their family does not allow women to sing.He also confessed in an interview that their family has an art of poetry from past 600 years and he do not need any permission from anyone to sing the sung verses by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is considered as one of the great singers of South Asia and he is the nephew of a known and great singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan which was also famous for his qawwalis and verses that touched the people from the bottom of their heart.
Rate Fateh Ali Khan always says that he is there only because of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, he is promoting his art and poetry from past 20 years and it is the result of the training of Ustad Fateh Ali Khan that he has reached this great position.
Rahet Fateh Ali Khan once said in an interview that his father and uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan have been promoting the art of poetry in the form of words from past 100 years and melodious voice is loved by all the people around Pakistan and the globe and we cannot deny that their family has an exceptional blessing from Allah.
Nida Nusrat,the only daughter of renowned singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has begun singing and using her father’s verses.She also said that they are going to take legal action against those who use my father’s voice for financial purposes and benefits.Agreed, he does not have the rights of my father’s word, I am sending him legal notice.
